Your double-wall glass is cool, right? There are some interesting things that you should know about it. It's made from borosilicate glass that is mouth blown into our whimsical shapes.
First, what is borosilicate glass? It's a type of glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main glass-forming constituents making it pretty different to your common glass, primarily in its unique properties. Making it resistant to thermal shock, scratching, and damage.
To ensure that you can enjoy these glasses for an extended period of time please keep these easy care tips in mind:
- Take care when using ice cubes, pour desired liquid before adding ice
- Avoid using with metal utensils
- When washing glass take precaution to not roughly scrub at the bottom plug, this may disrupt the vacuum seal
- Take care when handling cups as the glass is thinner than a traditional cup making them fragile (similar to wine glasses)
- Keep out of reach from children
Your new glasses are Dishwasher, Freezer, and Microwave Safe.
