Great, once you figure it out.

The device works great - but the instructions on package are confusing. "Pull-Score-Enjoy." We thought pulling up created suction. It should read: "Pull up - RELEASE - Twist to score - Remove - Enjoy."
Once you figure out the "release part," the rest is simple - and FUN.

Attractive but unable to master

Well built and very attractive tool. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get it to work for me. I must be doing something wrong so for now, it will just be an attractive kitchen tool and conversation piece.

Don't expect miracles

It cracks the shell, it doesn't chop the tops off. The circular scoring enables you to pick/lift the cap of the shell off, enabling you to dig into your soft-boiled egg without crumbling the rest of the shell.
